A Preventive Education School for Parents
Strong parents build strong families.
EJAD equips parents, mothers, and caregivers with the tools to raise children with communication, discipline, and love — starting in Guatemala, built to scale anywhere.
Why This Matters
Family breakdown, a lack of parenting tools, low parental involvement, and rising risk behavior among children and teens are intensifying social, emotional, and behavioral challenges across communities. EJAD responds with structured educational strategies for parents, mothers, and caregivers — strengthening how they accompany their children, promoting positive parenting, and contributing to the wellbeing of the next generation.
The Name EJAD
EJAD (Hebrew: אֶחָד, echad) means "one" or "first" — a unity made of many parts joined in a single purpose, as in the Shema of Deuteronomy 6:4. For this program, the name also stands for its mission:
Educar (Educate), Juntos (Together), Aprender (Learn), Disciplina (Discipline).
What We Do
General objective: Strengthen families through structured educational programs for parents, mothers, and caregivers.
Family Communication
Building the tools for honest, healthy dialogue at home.
Positive Parenting
Replacing punishment-driven habits with guided, values-based discipline.
Prevention
Reducing violence and risk behavior in children and adolescents before it starts.
Emotional & Spiritual Growth
Supporting the whole family's development, not just the household's rules.
How It Works
EJAD runs participatory workshops, case-study discussion, and community accompaniment, delivered in-person and virtually — designed from day one to be replicable across cultural and religious contexts.
